Mural, Seattle, WA Software Engineer Intern January 2021 – April 2021 Designed a converter to import files from other applications into native Mural elements
- Integrated the converter into Mural’s existing Electron app with React, Typescript, and Node
- Parsed large JSON files into hundreds of native Mural elements like sticky notes and text boxes
- Oversaw planning in Jira with one week sprints
- Created documentation in Confluence and continued to provided support after joining Mural full time
Laika, Hillsboro, OR Developer Intern September 2020 – December 2020 Optimized Pipeline Tools in the Production Technology department:
- Spearheaded upgrade of pipeline applications and dependencies from Python 2 to Python 3
- Developed integrations for Autodesk ShotGrid to DragonFrame to catalog information about each frame
- Implemented features to CICD and error tracking infrastructure to save space and ease debugging
- Debugging custom QT GUIs in Maya and Houdini
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Middleton, WI Software Development Intern June 2019 – August 2019 Built web application to allow retrieval of USGS water sensor data for visualization in Tableau
- Application was built on Vue.js framework with Node.js
- Used Jenkins and Docker to build app and deploy builds to an AWS S3 bucket
- 100+ Jest Unit Tests, Codacy, Travis CI, and Coveralls used to test functionality

Magnet360, Minneapolis, MN Developer Intern June 2018 – August 2018 Rebuilt Magnet 360’s automated testing framework in Java to support a variety of testing environments

- Converted user input from verbose Config file to simplified spreadsheet system
